Support
Post-operative garments for men provide gentle and effective support despite a surprisingly strong second skin effect! Embody fabrics are unique in that they are multi-axial; they stretch simultaneously in different directions, while maintaining the same strength. A common mesh only stretches bi-axially and its elongation is 20% lower.
Comfort
The warp and weft stretch of the support waistcoat is multi-dimensional, so the force on the skin is not greater in the oedematous areas where the fabric is more stressed. The design team's focus is on comfort; the garment follows the body's volume expansion smoothly. The support remains stable even when the body volume triples, and it remains stable when the body volume returns to its original shape, unlike woven mesh.
Lightweight
The fabric designed by the Research and Development team is extremely light, weighing only 160g/m2. The lightness of the fabric is essential for a post-surgical garment; it allows the skin to breathe and to remove scar exudates.
Resistance
The Embody support waistcoat is resistant to chlorine and its derivatives (Chlorexidine, Dakin, etc.), which are particularly indicated for patients with scar treatment with these products.
Quick drying
Thanks to its short drying time, the waistcoat fabric guarantees perfect hygiene. However, it is advisable to buy two post-operative garments so that one can be washed when the other is worn
Sun protection
Embody's post-surgery garments provide protection from the sun's rays (UV UPF 50+). This protection is extremely important for the tissue resorption process and the proper healing of the skin.
